Our Story
Born from a personal need. Rooted in faith. Grounded in God’s Word.
Girl Boss Prays didn't begin with a business plan or an idea from a product. It began with a personal need. My own experiences with loss and hurt brought me to a place where I recognized just how much I needed God.
Through those experiences, I came to understand the importance of an intentional, intimate, and daily relationship with Him. Because apart from God, we do not know anything, cannot do anything, and cannot change anything. Everything belongs to the Father.
Creating What I Couldn’t Find
Based on my desire to grow closer to God, I began noticing things that were missing from the tools I wanted to use in my own faith journey. Each product was created to meet a real need.

The Prayer Journal
I wanted a prayer journal, but I struggled to fine one that featured women who looked like me. And many of the journals I found were dated. But we don't all sit down and write out our prayers every single day. I wanted a journal that reflected real life - on that encouraged prayer without making someone feel as though they'd fallen behind because they missed a day.

The Sermon Notes Journal
I would go to church, listen to the message, and write notes on the back of the church program. And what happened to those notes? They ended up everywhere. I wanted one place to keep what I was learning so I could return to those messages, study the Scriptures, and apply what I'd heard.

My Daily Bread Scripture Cards
I remember seeing people display affirmations - words they wanted to speak over themselves, remember and believe. And I wondered, if we're intentional about keeping affirmations in front of us, why aren't we just as intentional about keeping the Word of God before us? After all, God tells us His Word does not return void.

Scripture for the Moments Life Brings
Life isn't made up of one kind of moment. Ther are moments of celebration and answered prayers, moments of growth and new beginnings, moments of making decisions and stepping into new opportunities, and moments of grief, disappointment, uncertainty, and waiting. We believe God's Word is relevant to every one of them.
