Depend & Do Not Doubt Part 2

As Black women, trusting someone else to handle things can feel like risk.
We’re used to being the strong one, the dependable one—the one with a plan B ready, just in case.

But bold faith is different.
Bold faith requires you to let go, even when you don’t see proof yet.

We declared God’s promises boldly last week.
But declaring is one thing—depending fully is another.

If we are honest with ourselves, sometimes our “trust” has strings attached.

We say, “God, I trust You,” but we’re still creating a plan of our own based on our strengths, connections, and experience.

Doubt dresses up like wisdom—
It whispers, “Be realistic,” or “Don’t get your hopes up.”
But it’s still doubt.
And doubt steals your peace, your power, and your next level.

Doubt doesn’t protect you. It paralyzes you.

Depending on God means trusting that He meant what He said and He IS  who HE IS.
It means releasing control even when everything inside you screams, “Fix it yourself!”

Real dependence says:

“God, if You don’t do it, it won’t get done. And I’m okay with that.”

It's uncomfortable. Honestly, I'm still learning how to fully let go. But I'm discovering it's also freeing.

Because when you finally take your hands off, you give God room to be who He said He’d be.

This Week’s Challenge: Take Your Hands Off

✅ Write down the doubts you’ve been holding onto.
Name them. Be real about them. Stop carrying them quietly.

✅ Match each doubt with God’s promise.
Replace worry with His Word. Speak truth over every area of uncertainty.

✅ Do one thing that shows you trust Him completely.
Apply, start, pause, wait—do whatever total dependence looks like for you right now.

It’s time to put your faith where your prayers have been.
