My Word for the Year: BOLD

When God gave me the word BOLD, I didn't panic. It wasn't the word itself that made me nervous—it was the uncertainty of what being bold would require.

Because like many women, I've wrestled with:

• Overwhelm – Too many responsibilities, too little time.
• Lack of confidence – Wondering if I was truly equipped.
• Doubt – Second-guessing whether I heard God correctly.
• Procrastination – Knowing what to do but hesitating out of fear.

And the hardest part? I was going through all of this while being a Christian. I loved God, I believed in His Word, but I wasn't always standing fully on it.

I had big dreams, but I found myself waiting for permission or playing it safe instead of moving forward with bold, faith-filled action.

Then, life forced me to make a bold decision.

I knew that My Daily Bread Scripture Cards were a God-given idea. I could feel it. But when my vendor changed their pricing, and required quantities, it threw everything into chaos.

The cost to produce the cards shot up. The new process would make it harder to fulfill orders efficiently. I was at a crossroads—either adjust to their terms and risk higher costs, or figure out a new way to move forward.

And then, I felt God pressing on my heart:

"Bring it in-house. Print them yourself."

Immediately, my practical mind started throwing up roadblocks: "That's a huge investment." "I don't even know how to print professionally." "What if it doesn't work?"

But then, God spoke clearly:

"When you move, I move—just like that."

I knew I needed to take a step of faith, but faith isn't just about believing—it's about preparing.

So, I started researching printers, calculating costs, and watching tutorials on professional printing. This bold step feels scary, but I'm walking in the expectation that God will provide clarity as I move forward.

Because bold faith isn't just asking—it's acting.

The B.O.L.D. Prayer Strategy: Faith + Action

I created this because I needed something real, simple, and actionable to help me pray and live boldly.

💜 Believe Without Limits – Expanding your faith beyond perceived limitations.

💜 Obedient Action – Trusting God enough to move.

💜 Live Inside-Out – Letting faith transform you from the inside out.

💜 Declare & Depend – Speaking promises and fully trusting God.

And to back that up, we need to pray boldly and act boldly:

• Bold Prayers – Asking for more without fear or limitation.
• Open Mouth – Speaking life and truth over our situations.
• Leave It in God's Hands – Releasing control and trusting Him.
• Do Not Doubt – Walking like it's already done.

A couple of verses that have been encouraging me are:

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.  Joshua 1:9

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Ephesians 3:20

These words remind me that boldness comes with divine support.

Week 1 Challenge: Step Into Boldness

This week, we're not just praying boldly—we're moving boldly.

1. Write down three bold prayers. Not small, not "reasonable," but big, God-sized requests.
2. For each prayer, write one action you will take to live like it's already answered. (If you're praying for confidence, how will you show up differently? If you're praying for provision, how can you practice trust?)
3. Say your bold prayers out loud every morning. Speak them like you believe them.
